Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit food assistance program that provides a box of food worth approximately $60 for only $30. The boxes are different each month, and contain a variety of fresh & frozen foods that are brand-name and high quality.

There are no seconds or "day-old" type foods. There are no qualifications, income limits, or residency restrictions for who can order.
Each month, special boxes of meats, (grill boxes, steaks, chicken) are also available for an additional amount of money (typically $20 each) and may be purchased if one chooses, so long as at least one regular box of food is purchased. The monthly menus are available to view online at http://angelfoodministries. com/menu.asp CrossWalk Community Church of the Nazarene in Westland has teamed up with the Belleville Fire Auxiliary to provide this service to Belleville area residents.
Orders must always be placed in person, and the order dates for the July menu are Thursday, July 10 between 6 pm & 8 pm at the Belleville Fire Station located at 25 Second Street in Belleville, or Saturday, July 12 between 9 am & 1 pm at CrossWalk Community Church.
The church is located at 38600 Palmer Road in Westland. Payment must be made at the time of order and payment forms accepted are cash, money orders (made out to CrossWalk Community Church), and/or food stamps (EBT cards).Food pickup on July 26 is between 10 a.m. and noon at CrossWalk, and the Belleville Fire Hall, depending on where order was placed. A large box per unit of food ordered must be brought to pick up the food.
